What do you need to take a video or make a movie?

With the video hosting sites like YouTube, Google video  anyone can make video and share it

with people around the world, whether it is a home video or your how to do project. With all the specifications and requirements on size and quality, publishing your movie online can become more complicated.

It is good to have a plan how to do it. In points, your script will become the backbone of

There are three types of media: Mini DV, DVD and Media Cards. I like using them all. But I know friends, who like to use MC only. I do not blame them. Easy to  carry.   But more expensive.

Cameras that use this medias  cost about the same. You can find good deal on any of them almost  every day. All cameras are HD.  The question is: what is the quality? From consumer reports, Mini DV’s Movie making are the better choice. Although the image is converted to the tape, there is no compression. The video is viewable on a large screen with no change in quality. When you import it into the computer, you can choose the size of the file. Because the digitizing is done in real time so it takes longer than DVD or MC. With DVD Movie making and MCs Movie making the image is already digital on the disc or card, so importing it to computer is faster, but the quality and size is preset. For presenting the video on the Web this  should be fain. But the quality is worse, when you plan to present it on large screen TV.  The biggest difference between Mini DVs, MCs and DVDs is inability to change tapes. If you  run out of recording space on DVD or Mini DVs you just change the tape. With MCs you must first transfer it to the computer and reuse the MC or have a new one on the hand. It could  be more expensive.
